Women of Grace

Women of Grace is a women’s group open to all women attending Grace United Methodist Church.

Our purpose is:

· To know God and experience freedom as whole persons, through Jesus Christ.

· To develop a creative, supportive fellowship.

· To expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

· To be the Church of the Neighborhood, making followers of Jesus Christ to transform the world.

Our group convenes three times a year in the church lounge following the Sunday worship service. During these meetings, we collaboratively plan our yearly calendar, which features both social gatherings and fundraising events.

Women of Grace is not merely a group of women associated with Grace UMC here in Moorhead, but a part of United Women in Faith, “a global sisterhood acting in faith to tackle the world’s hard work without hesitation. With a focus on women, children and youth, we act for justice and transform communities.” (Quote from UWFaith vision statement)

The UWFaith Reading Program offers a valuable study opportunity with a curated list of readings in key areas: Education for Mission, Leadership Development, Community Nurturing, Social Action, and Spiritual Growth, encouraging deeper understanding and engagement.
