We were chartered as a missional congregation and established in Moorhead, MN, in 1878. Our journey has taken us through various locations, culminating in our current building, which we moved to in 1961, and the addition of a new sanctuary in 1979. In 2015, Grace embraced the Healthy Church Initiative (HCI), a moment of reflection and growth where we examined our neighborhood’s unique demographics and our calling to serve those around us. From this transformative experience emerged our mission: to be “the church of the neighborhood, making followers of Jesus Christ to transform the world.” This powerful mission inspires our ministries and our commitment to witness the love of Christ, offering numerous opportunities for everyone to participate.
