Hello Grace UMC!
Thank you to everyone who purchased a sub, bought a card, or donated to the Grace Youth fundraiser. We were able to raise over $1400 for our Youth and Kids programs and for future mission trip opportunities! Youth did a great job collecting orders and making subs, and we are grateful for your continued support. A big thanks to Jessica M., Sandy S., and Judy H. for helping with supplies, and to Jean M. for providing beautiful Valentine’s Day cards!
3 Things to Know
1. Women of Grace Meeting
The Women of Grace are meeting in the Lounge on Sunday, February 15, following our worship service, and all women are invited! The discussion will include our 2026 Fall Festival date and the opportunity for two individuals to step forward who are willing to work together to coordinate this fall event. For questions and input, please contact Jean G. or Phyllis M.
Lent Supper and Worship
Next Wednesday, February 18th, will begin the season of Lent with a soup supper and Ash Wednesday service. Every week, we will gather for supper beginning at 5 pm with worship at 6 pm. The 18th will be different, with our service taking place in the sanctuary, but the following weeks will take place in the Connection Center. If you’re coming in right at 6 pm, no worries, supper will still be available! Each night will be a great opportunity to grow in your faith while growing in community as well.
3. Camping!
Take a mental break from this cold winter, and imagine the warm crackle of a campfire, the taste of s’mores, and the voices of friends singing camp songs about Jesus together. All this will be happening in a few short months! Now is the time to sign up for camp: for yourself, your kids, or for your whole family. Registration is open now, and camp scholarships are available. You can connect with Pastor Taylor for more information.
Worship This Week
We will wrap up our sermon series, “Three Simple Rules”, looking at the third rule, Staying in love with God. What fuels a life of faith? This week, we’ll explore the importance of spiritual disciplines, practices that connect us to God’s presence and sustain us in our daily journey. Discover how intentional habits like prayer, study, and worship can nurture your soul and deepen your faith. Join us in-person or online at 10:00 am!
