Christ our Lord invites to all his table. Come as you are . You do not need to be a church member or a United Methodist to share at Christ’s table. Receiving communion begins with a desire to follow “The Greatest Commandment: to love God with all your heart, mind and soul and to love your neighbor as yourself.”
This Sunday we at Grace will again have parking lot worship with communion at 10 AM. If you forget your mask, masks will also be made available. MN mandate for indoor spaces does encourage masks & social distancing and for outdoor gatherings such as worship where multiple households gather. Communion will be a pre-packed wafer and juice–a product called “Fellowship Cup.” Worship will still be “Livestreamed on Facebook” and here on our website. There will be a virtual prayer to bless your at-home bread and juice. Last time we gathered we noticed shade is in short supply at 10 AM in our setting. So, if shade is important to you bring an umbrella and a lawn chair. In case of inclement weather/rain we will have small groups enter the sanctuary briefly just for communion. Our Scripture for the morning is Matthew 14:13-21 with a theme of Re-Discovering Fullness in our lives. I look forward to seeing you.
May you be well and be a blessing,
